Faux Mother of Pearl technique with Jolliest Time of the Year...

This card looks pretty good despite being handled so much in my clubs this month. It features the Jolliest Time of the Year stamp set and Faux Mother of Pearl technique. The technique is simple: Pour a few drops of Shimmer Paint (we used Frost White) onto a paper plate, wad up a piece of Saran Wrap and dab it into the paint. Then dab the wrap onto a piece of Whisper White card stock, taking care to cover the entire piece without solidly covering it. Stamp your image in Basic Black (or Jet Black StazOn), and sponge around it, which highlights the flecks of Shimmer Paint.

Stamps: Jolliest Time of the Year;
Ink: Bashful Blue and Basic Black pads;
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Bashful Blue;
Accessories: Northern Flurries embossing folder, Basic Rhinestones, sponge, Circle Scallop, and 5/8" White Satin Ribbon.
